Adrian ‘A.G.’ Granderson
is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Tennessee State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication & Theatre, and again in 2002 with a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.). 

During his over 10 years as a radio personality, he has served as a mix show DJ from 10pm – 2am as well as night jock from 1998 – 2001 before moving to Middays in 2002.

Over the course of the past eleven years, he has served many roles in the Nashville community, including six (6) years as President & CEO of a local non-profit organization, a past Board member for the Association for Non-Profit Executives and the Young Leaders, the Urban League of Middle Tennessee and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Council. He has volunteered or served on committees for organizations including the Nashville Youth Alliance, YMCA, CEO Academy, and the Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts of America.

A.G. currently owns Allen Davis & Associates, a construction procurement company, and Jazz & Jokes Entertainment, an entertainment and events firm. Jazz & Jokes Entertainment has successfully produced several events including a monthly live music and comedy fused event each month since November of 2006 as well as “Sax + Soul,” a collaborative series of concerts featuring Jazz saxophonist Joe Johnson and smooth R&B vocalist Kevin Whalum. Jazz & Jokes holds an email database of over 4,500 patrons aged 21 and over.
